thade
In particular, I need to saw the torch off of a Sisters of Battle backpack. I want to attack it to this Sister's new Terminator armor. Getting it off clean with a mostly flat surface would be ideal. The only tools I have right now are a dremel, clippers, and an Xacto knife. The first two would butcher the backpack with collateral damage on the torch...the latter I'm sure plain won't do diddly. GW sells a hobby saw, but I have no idea how capable it is. I assume it's reasonable. But maybe you know better or would recommend something different? egon1six
In the past I have use a very small hack saw. The GW hobby saw works best for plastic imho. I now use a jewler's saw which allows me to get close and at the appropriate angle. Just my two cents. Bannus
X-acto makes some fine-toothed saws that can make some very fine cuts. I'd look into investing into one of those. Warsmith Aznable
Or have the best of both worlds. Jeweler's saw, definitely second that. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/256242-i-need-to-saw-pewter/#findComment-3118495 Share on other sites
