Yeah AP3 force sword, wounding Daemons like a psilencer...sigh. And he can't even swap out his powers, what a gyp

 

Man, the rules for Sevrin Loth are completely retarded. 2+/2+ on a psychic test, Mastery 3 (whereas all Farseers have Mastery 1, derrrr), generates six powers...Tigerius looks like a child next to this guy.

This is a suit of Artificer armour that incorporates a Psychic Hood. In addition, the wearer can use their own psychic energies to empower the suit’s defences further. At the beginning of his turn, by expending a Warp Charge, Loth’s 2+ Armour save becomes a 2+ Invulnerable save which lasts until the beginning of Sevrin Loth’s next turn.

inv +2 every turn and he can still cast powers or use force weapon . The bomb.

Yup, another forgeworld unit no one is *every* going to let you use.

well until FW is made legal and then any sm player/imperial will be able to run him with no problem . FW units as ally are the bomb . Personaly am hoping for a mek stompa , bigger then a mega dread[higher AV more weapons, fields , crazy mekk stuff] , but smaller then a stomp [no structure points so normal games legal] in a tau army . nothing says this is my gunline list better , then a 350 melee monster with mek fields , saws , shoka attack gunes and grotzookas in front of your tau army with a screen of 60 grots :lol:

See, it's sad really. Forge World churns out a lot of bad units, bad rules, bad campaigns...and then they go and muck it up by making a hilariously OP character like Loth.

'K...well lets give him Mastery 3...and all the powers forever...and six when he swaps for the rulebook ones...'

'Nope, still not powerful enough!'

'Hmmm...hey, lets do that thing Sisters used to do, make his armour invulnerable'

'What his armour save?'

'2+ artificer'

'Perfect'

See, it's sad really. Forge World churns out a lot of bad units, bad rules, bad campaigns...and then they go and muck it up by making a hilariously OP character like Loth.

They are still better than GW and the FW updates were probably done in short order without paying much attention to 6th Ed... Hence why he is insane... If he gets published in another book or they spend more time later on going through everything and making a better FAQ he will no doubt be hit by the nerf bat.
