Interceptor Squads Question

The codex lists the unit as an Intantry type. They are equipped with personal teleports which let them have the teleport shunt, but it also states that it makes them jump infantry if they're equipped with them. Does this mean that they can do the shunt once per game and follow the jump infantry rules the rest of the game?

As soon as they have the teleporter they are jump infantry. As we do not have the option to remove the packs like regular Codex Assault Marines do, the Interceptors are just jump marines. Really the Codex should have just clarified that, but meh.. what can ya do?

It seems like they wanted to kinda write it for 6th ed much like the cron dex but weren't quite sure how to do it yet, so they needed to say, the teleporters make things jump whatever, so it could still effect the Dreadknight, but obviously didn't do it to well... silly matty no brains.

 

But yeah they jump infantry can chose to move 12 or reroll the charge and hammer stuff by ninja slashing the enemy in a cloud of multi coloured lightning.

Hey, they don't Ninja slash, they appear out of the warp right on top of the enemies' big toe! :-)
