SgtTelion
Hi Guys! I thought I would re-introduce myself, as I havent been very active on here, or with the hobby for quite some time. Some of you may remember I jumped ship from UltraMarines to the Space wolves a few years ago when the dex first came out. Well, Im not much further on. Still have NOTHING painted, However, I have about 1500 points built now! I have used a butt load of spares and conversion parts for this Army so far - No expense spared! So, I thought I would share what I have so far, and hopefully help some of you find things you didnt know existed. Im gonna lay out all the other companies I have used during this build so far, which may inspire some of you! First Up - My Take on Arjac Rockfist: http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u274/simmo0916/ArjacRockfistWIP.jpg Im not a fan of the new miniature... the head and shoulders are just WRONG! Now all i need is a decent Hammer. Anyone got any suggestions? MoTW Scout is next: http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u274/simmo0916/scout.png It needs a bit of gap filling, but i quite like it. The wolf arms and head came from http://puppetswar.eu/ Normal Wolf Scout: http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u274/simmo0916/scoutsword.png The chainsword on this guy is HUGE! I originally got the Chainswords for my Ragnar Conversion... But they are HUUUGE! They were bought from: http://www.maxmini.eu/store/ Fenrisian Wolf: http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u274/simmo0916/fenwolf.png Nothing special here... But I do love the models, and plan to run a pack of 10 as a try out :D All the bases you see here are from MicroArt Studio's, and i could not be more impressed. The Base makes a model, and these things are awesome. Check em out. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u274/simmo0916/MicroArtBaseExample2.jpg A final link - Look at Scibor miniatures for some nice Celtic marines, Im using one as my Rune Priest, and they look amazing. http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?art=1121 Cheers for looking! Due to me just having Knee Surgery, I am killing time getting back into the Hobby again, so Im hoping to have loads done and really re-kindle my passion. I have been playing since 2nd or 3rd edition after all! Comments, are as always, Welcome. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u274/simmo0916/MicroArtBaseExample.jpg My most complete mini so far :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/256619-my-current-progress/ Share on other sites
hendrik
love that frostaxe! on the other side i'm not that sure about that bigass chainsword on the scout (but that's because i dislike those anime size weapons and it doesn't scream sneaky-death-from-behind...now is it me or this just sound REALLY disturbing?) SgtTelion
Thanks! Im the same way about the Chainswords, but, they are growing on me. If anybody else agrees about the tutorial, I will do it... but not unless more ask :( Im such a lazy painter haha. Here is a better Image of it... without the blue reflective background ruining the glazes ;) ... But with Camera Shake! http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u274/simmo0916/FrostAxe.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/256619-my-current-progress/#findComment-3122879 Share on other sites
