Runepriest2007
I've painted the armor on Celestine VGC Brassy Brass, and am looking for a good contrast color for the halo. The colors on Celestine are: armor - VGC Brassy Brass; tabard - VGC Hexed Lichen; cloak and robes - VGC Bloody Red. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. WarriorFish
What about white, or silver? Have you got a picture of your Celestine, that might make it easier to make suggestions ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/256695-st-celestine/#findComment-3124179 Share on other sites

WarriorFish
Don't worry about that, all of us have boring life things like work and such getting in the way of precious 40k time :) After seeing your picture I'm going with silver. I've always found that brass/bronze and silver go well together. If you were to use white it'd look best on the aquila details I think. I recommend whatever shade is the replacement for Devlan Mud (I think it's called "Argrax Earthshade"?) for your brass. I always give my metallics a wash of something to help take the "shine" off a bit as well as give the model some quick shading ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/256695-st-celestine/#findComment-3126276 Share on other sites
