Malus the Destroyer
Starting an expansion to my Flesh Tearers army, as well as adding more detail to previous models, including Serrated combat blades, squad markings, etc. I have about a full companies worth of marines so far. Latest expansion will be adding sniper scouts, Tactical Terminators, Sternguard, Vanguard, Stormtalon to escort the Stormraven, and Whirlwind. And a full conversion of the Fortress of Redemption to the Black Tower of Cretacia. A 3rd Stormraven will be added at some time when I get the parts to add internal red lighting. The plans for that is to make it a Death Company specific one, hatches open with DC Brothers hanging out with bolters, internal lighting, and Death Company Terminators and scouts on the base. Just because we can't field them, does not mean they don't fall the the Black Rage. First hurdle is to get the carving correct on the combat knives to add them to the Battle-Brothers. Should have first set of pics in 2 weeks. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e208/Malus13/FTdata.jpg

Captain Juan Juarez
I never understood the idea of a "ritual" power sword; the powerfield is going to surgically cut the armour, flesh and bone where a dead/inert blade would actually tear - like the flaying knife. Malus the Destroyer
Sigh, having issues carving the combat knives to make them serrated. Any suggestions are welcome.
Captain Juan Juarez
My only suggestion would be that if you create slightly larger versions of the combat-knife out of green stuff, you can practice the technique required and you might also find that those slightly large versions work better with the "teeth". I suppose it does what it says on the tin - Ritual purposes. So yeah, the barbs on the power sword are purely cosmetic/heraldic. Maybe they use it in initiation ceremonies/as punishments or a badge of office? TJ
