angry man
i have a sneaking suspicion that this question may have been asked/answered in previous editions of the rules, but i never actually saw it. according to the brb, the only restricions on sweeping advances are that the unit must not be locked in ocmbat with a non-broken enemy unit (page28) the various marine codexes state that models in TDA may not sweeping advance. so, what happens if a mixed armour unit (wolf guard/PA character attatched to TDA unit/TDA character attatched to PA unit)wins a combat and the only opposition unit flees? do the non TDA contingent get to make a SA roll, or does the the, potentially singular, TDA contingent restrict all sweeping advance? touch wood, i missed something and this is simple, cut and dry... pingo
You just need to read a little further ... Rulebook, p. 27, 2nd paragraph of the 'Disallowed Sweeping Advances' section, 1st sentence ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/256891-sweeping-advance/#findComment-3125847 Share on other sites
