Blind Grenades got Buffed!

Just noticed this little snippet!

Our Blind Grenades are 'defensive' grenades, so in addition to thier CC rules, if;

1: Within 8" of unit shooting you

2: Not Gone to Ground

Blind Grenades give the unit the Stealth special rule.

Which also now gives a Cover Save out in the open.

A nice little buff to our units without Invulnerable saves. ;)

It's almost never going to come up dude. The only time it's even vaguely likely to matter is when you charge a unit and they shoot you with Overwatch inside of 8". Then the Stealth triggers, and you get the bonus.

Mind you, it's a nice free buff to already cheap defensive grenades, but its not like you'll be utilising it every game.

8" is the upper limit of what I would consider to be a 'safe' charge distance anyway so I suspect it will come up fairly often.

This. You know, 7" being the mean sum of a 2d6 roll and all that silly statistical mumbo jumbo.

Yeah, but how many charges are you getting per game? I'd wager only about two, and the vast majority of the time, you are testing on the few hits they do manage on your armour save anyway. As I said, its a nice bonus, but it's rarely going to come up.
