This is mine

OM =][= on the right and OX on the left, I custom made him so he has a lightweight powerfist just for fictional purposes (i know its not WYSIWYG)

Its my first time attempting the glow effect on weapons reflecting off other surfaces

still plenty of ways to go for my entire army to be in color XD

My own Inquisitor Guildenstern. I really wanted to differentiate him from a GKT. I wanted to make the armour look different to the Aegis suit worn by Grey Knight terminators so used different shoulder pads, and incorportated the back section of a normal suit of terminator armour. I also wanted it to be clear, it is a normal human in here, not a genetically engineered supersolider, so used a smaller head and the arms from a Grey Knight in Power Armour. I can buy a space marine firing a Psycnannon from a wrist mount, but I think a human being, no matter how snazzy his armour, should still need two hands to operate one!

Thanks

Dan

Nice model, and is that a hammer over its shoulder?

Nice work with all the additions in this thread. I have almost finished my inquisitor. Just need to base him, finish a few minor details and paint up his servo skulls.

I can imagine a terminator armored Inquisitor could hold a psycannon in 1 hand, due to the inbuilt strength of the suit. although mine has a support attached to his minigun to help carry the weight.

Thanks, and yes, it is a hammer magentically cmaped to his armour (props to ADB for the idea, the main character in The Emperor's Gift does the same to stow his warding stave)

I hadn't considered the possibility of a support but it makes sense. Inqs are influential enough to secure suspensor fields too I suppose so could probably fire a vulcan mega boler from the hip if they really wanted to! I guess I just miss the days when our codex said we could model the Inqs equipment on his warband instead, made for so much more potential!

I meant more like something linked into the armor. like the M56 Smartgun in Aliens.

The rifle is mounted on a articulation arm which in turn is connected to a operator's combat harness.

I do like the Hammer on his back, mine has to make do with a pointy fist (pimp fist).

Here he is currently, still needs a bit of touching up, but he's done to my minimum tabletop standard (I rarely paint and find it hard to enjoy most of the time).

(I know the paint is a bit thick on his shoulder pad, really should thin my paints heh)

The inquisitor on the right is the younger version of him.

Heres mine! I went for the full ornate Blanche inspired look with all the trimmings!

Here is my work-in-progress inquisitor. He is a combination of a Tartaros pattern terminator, a bunch of Grey Knight bits, and few other pieces. There is some great ideas and awesome inquisitors in this thread.

I was wondering when one of those suits was going to show up as an inquisitor. Nice integration of bits there. I like how you actually made them fit into the armor, making them look like they're fused, instead of just having them look like they're hanging there. The chains on the book are a nice touch, too. What size are you using for chains? I have trouble finding a source that looks correct...

Do the heads come out? Just curious, really. I'm in the process of converting my own to some heresy-esque style armor. Inquisitors are the only thing that will be personalized to the point where you can see their face. Everything else (even Draigo) gets a helmet.

This has a great chance of being conceptually stolen:P I am about to make 2 TDA psycannon inquisitors myself and will probably attempt one to look similar to this posing. It looks so much sexy!

By all means steal away -_-

He´s a fairly simple kitbash of a GK terminator base with a set of halberd arms where the tip is switched to a hammer.

I added a bit of GS between the torso and legs to give a bit more height so it was possible to tilt him further backwards than normally possible with a terminator body, and then i added a lot of crap to the front of the torso to hide the gap (I could have sculpted it out and made it look nice, but i was planning to cover him in seals and other assorted crap anyway so I didn´t bother).

Most of the stuff on his torso is pointed forwards to help with the impression that he is still swinging the hammer backwards, but point them backwards, and use another pair of legs where the weight is put on the front legs, and he will be swinging the hammer forwards....

What did you use as the base of this wire, and what gauge is it (the wire) if you don't mind my asking. Clean work there.

I used a piece of 1.2mm (0.050") solder (make sure to use solid core or rosin core, not acid core). It's glued into a small piece of 3/32" aluminum tubing at the gun. Thanks for the comments.

Greetings

I too have the old inquisitor models - regularly deploy the hooded guy with psycannon and crozius/null rod thing. Also have a converted Mail Order-only techmarine with servo-harness (ironically without servo-harness) that I use for similar roles.

The Dark Eldar prisoners have been redeemed as psykers along with some other choice models such as the Judge Child and Jeremiah Cornelius. Inquisitorial warbands are a great way to remind people about classic models!
