hendrik
a question arose to me this morning. from a purely RAW point of view, are vehicles allowed to perform overwatch when charged? RAW overwatch works the following As soon as a charge has been declared against one of your units, that unit can immediatly fire overwatch at the would-be attacker. my main concern is the word unit, does this imply only units of vehicles are allowed to perform overwatch (such as a unit of killa-kans, or even worse, ea unit of leman russ exterminators...) what about single models, like dreadnoughts, but also lone wolves, or independant characters on their own. they too count as a single unit, no? wouldn't a predator count as a single unit than aswell? Feste
Vehicles can't Overwatch at all, although Walker's are an exception to this. Units embarked on a transport can overwatch through the fire points. Disruptor_fe404
Page 76, Vehicles and Overwatch: Unless specified otherwise, vehicles cannot make Overwatch fire - it takes too long to bring their weapons to bear.
