Against In 5th ICs fought seperately t their unit, and Wolves were specified to fight seperately to the IC they were bought for. This mechanic has been completely removed. For An IC w/ Wolves can join a unit, something that a "true" unit of models can't do. While Wolves are Type: Beast, Wargear Wolves can embark in transports - something Beasts can't do. When the IC dies, the Wolves are removed - unlike a "true" unit. Conclusion I don't think they will be able to if the FAQ is updated, but until it is - discuss with your local group.
