Ch@oZ
That's quite the awesome and extensive conversion! It lacks detail in the plasticard section of the hull and it's fairly easy to distinguish which parts were added, but overall- impressive.

Took everybody's criticism and comments and made the fuselage more detailed and better. I'm pleased, defo looks better than the mk1
Lysimachus
Oh my word, that is brilliant! Even the MK I is one of the best SR counts-as I've seen, but the added details on the MK II are even better!
Son of Carnelian
Love the MKII. Gotta post a step by step construction guide someday!

Rottimus
The bits on the top? As in the spine of the aircraft? It's a long panel thing that comes with the manticore, the bit inbetween the missiles. I cut up a defiler arm weapon flail thingy to make the cables. Bearingtheword
Rottimus are you gonna do a tut for this beautiful beast? or how about a parts list even, lol? Absolutely gorgeous and you've inspired me to do some. I just need to know what parts I'm gonna need to build them with! Please!~BtW
Rottimus
The thing is, I built two kind of on a whim... I didn't take any 'in progress' pics and completed the build in a day...(kind why they are a bit shoddy) Mr http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/user/42238-nighthunters/ did a great version of it. Much cleaner and precise. Basically you need to buy a storm talon, a leman russ punisher cannon and the wings and scoop from a stormraven. You also need some plastic card (stiff) and one drop pod outer panel You basically cut the stormtalon in half, to get a separate cockpit and then use the tail and engines to construct the back part. (they need some cutting in order to slim them down a bit) 1 Stormtalon has enough wing bits to make 1 full tail as pictured. The fuselage of the aircraft is citadel movement trays although any stiff plastic-card will do. The bit underneath the engines (which you can't see in the pics generally) is 1x Drop pod outer panel. At the start of this thread you'll an unpainted version which shows the bits and how to cut the storm talon a little more clearly.
