like the lion
do you need snap shots to shoot at landspeeders? under the skryfire rule it says that a model with skyfire uses it regular BS when shooting at swooping monstrous creatures, flyers, and skimmers. however in the skimmer section of the rulebook i dont see anything about needing snapshots to shoot at skimmers. dswanick
Skimmers have the Jink USR. This gives them a 5+ or 4+ Cover save. There is nothing about Skimmers which alters the to-hit roll of a weapon fired against it. Skyfire allows the full BS when shooting at Flyers, Flying MCs, and Skimmers. Against all other targets it uses Snap Shots, unless it also has the Interceptor USR. So a non-Interceptor, Skyfire weapon would roll Snap Shots to-hit ground vehicles, but roll at full BS against Skimmers. Of course the Skimmer would still get its Cover save. pyroknight
You shoot skimmers with your regular BS (but they may get a Jink save) It says that skyfire can shoot skimmers at normal BS because some skyfire weapons cannot shoot ground targets except with snap shots.
