Acebaur
Where is his Crozius?!?! :P Also why can't you cut a transfer in half? It's not terribly difficult, as long as you use a brand new Xacto blade Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/257608-chaplain-david-lee-roth-of-the-van-halen-crusade/#findComment-3134327 Share on other sites

Uh no, Croziuses are for smiting the foes of the Emperor. It is as much a weapon as a badge of office. Report to Jasper for a paddlin! :P I say mount one on his back, that would be awesome Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/257608-chaplain-david-lee-roth-of-the-van-halen-crusade/#findComment-3134338 Share on other sites
Krikey
He's a Black Templar Chaplain, Croziuses are for decoration and ceremonial duties. I like your model, but I will argue with your statement about the crozius. "Chaplains fight and minister with the deadly crozius arcanum, both a badge of office and a lethal weapon of battle." (BT Codex, p.18) ~K Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/257608-chaplain-david-lee-roth-of-the-van-halen-crusade/#findComment-3134341 Share on other sites
Black Templar 307th Comp.
Chaplain Roth prefers to smite enemies with his big damn fist :P Hehe, he leads my assault troops. With their meltabombs and whatnot, they're usually on anti-armor/Monstrous creature duty, so the Power Fist is the better option . It's rare that I keep the chaplain with a crozius. If I could find some, I'd moun them hanging on their belts or something, but I don't field them with the Crozius Arcanum. Krikey
Will you have Eddie and Alex in his command squad? Some power axes shaped a bit like guitars might be good. (Though there's always the risk they could be mistaken for Emperor's Children ...) ~K Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/257608-chaplain-david-lee-roth-of-the-van-halen-crusade/#findComment-3134353 Share on other sites
Black Templar 307th Comp.
Also worthy of note, this wasn't a chaplain model, it's a kit bashed sword brethren model. greendestiny
I like the powerfist position. It looks like he is telling the enemy to reach down and grab a pair and accept his challeng. Even though I rarely take a marshal, an never with an axe, heh. Some things are rule of cool. Totally a coincidence, I couldn't fit it "properly" with the cape on the model the way it was, so i had to turn it sideways. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/257608-chaplain-david-lee-roth-of-the-van-halen-crusade/#findComment-3134375 Share on other sites

He comes with it stock, allowing him to buy two additional weapons from the armory. Crovan
In late M41, the argument over Chaplain Roth's lack of a Crozius became so heated that he left the Crusade to be replaced by Reclusiarch Haggar, who everyone agreed wasn't as zealous.
