thade
Title says it all. I'd be grateful if you all would share with me your recommendations. Where do you buy plasticard? Non-gw bits for conversions? Other than ye olde GW and FW, I use K&J magnetics and Scribor. I'm looking to branch out. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/257695-recommendations-on-where-i-might-buy-supplies/ Share on other sites
Subtle Discord
Files, Drill Bits and Saws - Jewellery supply like Rio Grande or Contenti online, and a local shop in the city. Plastics and other modeling supplies - Local hobby shop and do a search online for a Plastics Supplier close to you. Every major city has a plastics and/or hobby supplier that sells online. Evergreen and Plastruct are two of the more popular brands of styrene. Paints, and painting mediums and thinners - Local Hobby shop, GW, and a local Art store if I need it in bulk. Primer - Hardware store Brushes - Online and more usually at a local Art shop. As you might notice, I'm a believer in trying to support local shops. They're usually privately owned and run, so it really helps a community directly. For anything you can't get because you're not near a major city, Google is king. Brother Tyler
Train and model stores are very good places for most of the non-GW/FW stuff I get, including plasticard, terrain stuff, miniature screws, magnets, etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/257695-recommendations-on-where-i-might-buy-supplies/#findComment-3135160 Share on other sites
