Wolf Lord in TDA

I picked up a scibor miniatures model to use as my wolf lord. Based on the base size and the heft of the armor, I am planning to use him as a wolf lord in TDA. I am working on the loadout I want for him gear-wise.

First, is a character allowed to have two different melee weapons with two different profiles? For example, say a wolf claw and a frost sword. Which profile is used for attacks? Do you get multiple attacks with one profile or do you choose how to divide up the attacks?

I want him to be a CC oriented WL. Better to give him two melee weapons and get a inv. save from the belt of Russ? or a melee weapon and a storm shield? Also, given the way the figure is modeled, one of the weapons will likely have to be a hafted weapon of some sort.

Thanks.

Before combat starts, you designate which weapon you intend to use and only that weapon. The benefit, assuming you're not using a weapon that removes the bonus, is from having two weapons, therefore a +1Attack. The tactic for this loadout is to pick two weapons that will either make use of your I5 or provide you with armor punching power.

so, a chainfist and thunderhammer are both specialist weapons. By wielding both, I would get +1 attack bonus; in this case, both have the same stats so probably no particular benefit in taking both; however, I am leaning toward thunderhammer and chainfist as I like the look of a chainfist. Add a belt of russ for some defensive and saga of the bear for the eternal warrior. Sound workable?

My thoughts on some alternative configurations:

Power Maul (modeled with a thunder hammer) and Frost Axe - power maul is concussive, so can reduce opponents initiative for next round of combat, making the use of the frost axe effective next turn? Or it doesn't work like that?

Frost Axe and Wolf Claw - choose which to attack with depending on opponent?

Frost Axe and Storm Shield- more defensive?

Thunderhammer and storm shield - more defensive?

Thoughts as to which would be a better way to go?

Logan has 1 weapon he can use in 2 profiles, and can mix and match his attacks, cos he's that awesome.

I good choice is a hammer/chain fist and a wolf claw. Both of these need a second weapon of the same type to get an extra attack, and both are specialist so RAW they do give +1 attacks.

I prefer the wolf claw as a general power weapon, as rerolling is generally better then +1 str, at least the way I roll it is.

I have to agree with Nurglez, that a Chainfist/Wolf Claw is one of the better combo's. Plus if you use Chainfist over Thunder Hammer then its 2d6 Armour Penetration and even Land Raiders are fair game at that point. Though a cheaper method is 2x Wolf Claws with a melta bomb :P personal favourite that one lol
