Torvak Kyre
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this but, I was wondering if it would be acceptable to build a Grav Attack for my Luna Wolves army and use the Stormtalon rules for it. I know that technically it is not a flyer but they're the only rules I think are acceptable. Thoughts? Brother-Sergeant Bohemond
yes, of course it would be fine. EDIT: Though the Landspeeder Tempest rules might be better from FW. Vodunius
How old are storm talons according to fluff? if they are old enough why wouldnt you just use them in your army? Because a deodorant bottle with some guns glued on looks 10x better than a Storm Talon? The Grav-Attack only had a multi-laser and a pair of boltguns, but had a small transport capacity.. so maybe a Land Speeder Storm? Torvak Kyre
Ok thanks. Are there any other pre heresy flyers I could use in my army? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/257961-grav-attack/#findComment-3139194 Share on other sites

I'm not sure how old they are but there doesnt seem to be any referances to them in any fluff I have read. There's no reference to them in any post heresy fluff either. So I wouldn't worry about that too much. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/257961-grav-attack/#findComment-3139251 Share on other sites
Raven Angel
Didn't there use to be a rule that if the model was actually made from a deodorant bottle it got +1 AV on the front? sar mikael
Why don't you check out the tempus fugitives rules for "age of the emperor". There's a whole rules set you can down load for free that covers the pre heresy/ heresy era formations squads, legion specific extras and bonus'. Also they cover vehicles including the grav tank and a storm hawk (which is funnily enough pretty much the same as storm eagle). All of this was released a few years ago, well before gw thought to cover the heresy substantially. either way its worth checking out. Hope that helps.
