Valkyrion Posted August 1, 2012 Share Posted August 1, 2012 How many ranged attacks can a MOTF on a bike with a servo harness make in the shooting phase? Bike rules state that one weapon per rider may be fired, which means only one weapon can be fired. SH wargear offers additional shooting as per it's own rules. Does either piece of wargear override the other? Does the bikes weapon count as 'another gun' for the purposes of the harness? Or can he really fire three shots (TL PP and Flamer on the harness, rapid firing bolter on the bike), on the move, and then assault? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ShinyRhino Posted August 1, 2012 Share Posted August 1, 2012 I believe he gets both the harness guns, and his bike-mounted bolters. The harness is in addition to any other weapons he fires (kind of like the servo attacks being in addition to any melee attacks), and he can choose to fire one hand-held gun, or the twinned bolters on his bike per turn. He fires his bolt pistol/bolter/TL-boltguns that the bike lets him fire for there being one rider (which is the norm anyway), and then can fire one of his harness mounts. Or he fires both his harness mounts and nothing else. Do bear in mind that that bike quote is basically aimed at attack bikes and similar, which come with two weapons and have to models modelled as well, letting them fire everything.
