Good luck Brother!!

think what's more important is the unit he's in. if chances are high he'll still be in combat round 2, go for Saga of the Warrior born. if he's ,in a pack that is unlikely to leave a lot of enemies standing after 1 combatphase, he's better of with Bear, since the extra attacks from Warrior Born will be wasted, ergo 35 pts down the drain.
don't forget those extra attacks dissapear at the end of the next combatphase, to be replaced by the new amount of unsaved wounds he caused, so if he's not in combat for an assaultphase, he loses the attacks. Saga of the Warrior Born seems cool and powerfull, but ultimatly, it's extremely conditional. if you play a crossover from 40k and fantasy, and have him charge into a unit of zombies, sure, WB owns. in most other cases, it's just 35 points wasted

Plus Saga of the Bear keeps a high point model from getting squashed from a single Str 10 hit. Then if his pack makes the impact, ie kills, the unit they assault he is likely to get shot to :o by a lot of low AP weapons.

I prefer Bear in almost all situations.
