Nice work Fyth!! Great looking priest you've got there!!

I keep getting distracted by other things as well... Night Lords and Eldar Wraiths...

I'll have to say that the possibility for a new codex and that WD cover with it's wolfy goodness on it has my inner wolf howling again!!

End of Line

6 months…..since I’ve been on and it feels like forever. I want to apologize to the community first off before I go into what I’ve been up to. I made a commitment to update the FAQ’s page and while I messaged an officer about RL issues I still feel like an apology is owed to you guys. Moving forward, I’ve finally settled into my new apartment, I started a second job which has wrecked my amount of free time to commit to painting/browsing the forums. And now that my schedule is finally stabilizing a little bit I’ve been finding niches of time here and there to paint. For Christmas my amazing second half bought me a corner desk as my new painting station so I’ll be getting that up and going this weekend. Again, sorry for the failure on this side. But I really have missed you guys and our community, hope to be more active again moving forward. :)

Amen to WLK's sentiments... RL before mini's (as much as it pains me to say that, it is true)).

Glad to see you back in the fold... And well done on the other half for getting you something war gaming related (wish my other half would do that!!)..

Happy New Year to you & yours.. I hope you have a prosperous, happy and stable 2015

Welcome back. I've seen some of your work in other threads, and I've got to say, it's good. I'm sort of a lazy painter, I'll do some HQ's every now and then, maybe a batch of infantry, but I've got to have a 12 pack or a few other choice adult beverages, before I slow down enough to pick up a brush. I'll be trying to get some of my own painting work up.

I enjoy building, converting, and gaming more than I enjoy painting. As such, I still have my Tau, and my wolves to paint. Most of it is either bare plastic, or has enough paint on it to look like something.

As for the life thing, My first Squadron Commander had a saying, "Life happens." Don't apologize for things outside your control.

Mactire, sadly not really. I've probably done a few modifications since last posting about it here and there but I've been staring at it these 6 months and the annoyance is building as far as how little progress I've made....it's definitely high on my list right now to get done next.

Thanks Val. :)

It feels sooooo good to be painting again. Completing this TWC is me saying goodbye to the last six months and lo and behold.....I actually did the base on it.

I REALLY like how the fur came out on this one even if it isn't the most photogenic. But consiering I did it like four months ago I think I may have trouble figuring out exactly how I did it.....if I do I definitely plan on doing a picture tutorial because the result is wicked cool. Been trying forever to get a brown/red wolf to look right and I think I finally managed it. Here's to 2015, charging ahead and so far off to a good start.

Great to see you back Fyth. AS has been said, apologies not required. Real life is called real life for a reason. Totally understand about work messing up your schedule. Did it last year.

Really like the TW. Clean & crisp. Especially like the fur. The shading of the browns is awesome. Looking forward to more.

I did it as a pack marker for this guy because he was missing one shoulder pad due to the shield arm. But seeing the end result I really do like how it looks so I might be figuring out how to incorporate it more into the rest of my guys especially since I have like ten more of these ork boyz arms. As for the blank yellow shoulder I haven't decided just yet which great company I want for my guys so I've just been painting it up and leaving it blank for the day that I finally decide.

Yeah, I really like how it looks.  Don't think I want to go back and repaint all of my guys' legs, but I'm tempted ;)

Nice looking TWC, Fyth!! I've been painting mine all day and it's nice to see some finished models!! I've been painting those jags on the leg yellow and black to mark the whole wolf guard thing, but the red looks sharp!!

I was hoping to see the Longhorn progress as well!! Get on that!! ;)

Beautiful work! Looking forward to your updates!

Finally sat down to work on the Stonehorn/Predator tonight. I feel like I've spent ages on this fur but at least the end result, I think, is pretty good. Anyways, here's a proof of progress for people who have been asking. More will follow soon ;)

(Disregard the black ink, it hadn't dried yet)

Looks promising, I like that ou used a skin tone, quite close to the fur colour, but distinctive enough you can easily tell them apart without the colours clashing.

I look forward to seeing more :)

I am sure Immersturm would be too as this would be his kind of thing.

Alright so here's a small status update. Been trying to paint here and there where I can on my predator conversion. Here are a few pictures, hope you like them. :smile.:

Greetings brothers! The painting fever has taken hold of me once more. Now that I’ve reduced my schedule down to one job, I’ve had a lot more free time this last week. So far I’ve been able to put it to good use. I placed third in a local tournament  and I’ve been trying my hand at painting in bulk rather than one model at a time.
