So I decided to make a WiP thread to see if it'll keep me focused on one project at a time

Heres my tank for an Iron Priest I'll be making,all weapons are magetized so it can be a Rhino,razorback,predator or a vindicator.

That random antenna bit you used as the two gun things on your Iron Priest, what is that from? I found one in my bits box and I love it, I slapped it on one of my Chimeras for my Death Korps and it fits just about perfectly against the angles of the armor but I have no idea which sprue I got it from.

Its not guns its a servo arm,i'll be adding more bitz to make it look better.I just posted this up since its WiP and I figured instead of just posting the beginning pictures in this thread then not taking any more till im done is not really smart ;)

Im going to be painting it as a mask,I know its random but my company reflects me :D

Paint them dirty and put some of my basing material.Funny thing is they are the exact same size as the Aegis defense line :lol: I glued these then took em to my local GW and seen if they were close to the actual ones and they were the same size,not bad for basing the size off of pictures :D

 

I also finished the conversion on the ex Champion but no pics since the families digital camera's batteries died and we can find the package of AA's we bought for it :)

For the love of the Emperor, I hope you got your dad's permission to touch that model. If I had a child and it took that model without my permission I'd be very upset.

 

Either way, I'd probably ebay it for £££ and use that to buy more models. That thing has to be worth a fair whack by now.

Ya I did,he has a bin of metal models and he said I can take anything I wanted but at that time I had enough marines,I got bored so I asked if he still had it and so I jacked it when he said yes :D If needed be he has another 1 or 2 in the bin,likely will just leave them for collecting though ^_^

Why didn't you sell the orcs and empire then buy an aegis line? or several, seeing how many miniatures you're sacrificing.

Because i've been using the ork arms with blades on my Wolves and also I like converting stuff ^_^

Seen that I was running out of bodies so I had to think of something else to finish my defense line so I thought "What else is plenty on a battlefield" and the answer was rubble,so I started on the rubble piece while the bodies were drying;

While the B&C was down I started working on my vow,The first WiP pic is dark but thats because I only had darker colors on the mini.
