Brother Captain Kezef Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 In 5th ed I ran a Sanguinary Guard army and had the whole thing deepstrike. hese days only 50% of the force (not including compulsory reserve) can be in reserve. Midnightmare Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 I have typically been struggling against shooty armies if I reserve too much, so my lists have been altered quite a bit in the 6th as I used to reserve a lot or all. Last game @ 1500 against Marines I ran:- Mephiston Honourguard (4x Melta) Priest 2x Jump RAS 3 x Attack Bikes Raven with Furioso (Talons) I reserved HG and Raven/Dread, the rest on the table. I am finding that too much in the Raven is bad, so it tends to be squad or dread. Usually anything with jump packs is in on turn 2 which helps though. I am finding the bikes are golden in this edition and tend to use 4, but I am thinking of getting more. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I may or may not deploy Baal preds depending on if I want to use their outflank or not. I don't deploy Dante/melta unit with Dante.
