what's a luddite? :S

It was a group of British workers during the industrial revolution period of Britain. They were unhappy with work conditions so they formed together and got quite violent.

Could a 10 man squad of GH - Pgun, flamer, Power weapon,pp with WG termi - HF, Wc - Wp - RA,PP,trimmings. be good for capturing and holding an enemy objective?

Yes, depending on how much support you give them. If they are the only ones back there and you allow your opponent to focus on them, then they will go down pretty quick

As Khine said but they were protesting about the introduction of new technology.

Wasn't it both? It was the introduction of new technology into the work place that caused job lose and also the horrible working conditions that was causing many people including children to die.

kinda like Daens in Belgium then. check.

Is there a way to get multiple characters with Saga of the Hunter in a list? I know there's a rule for SW about not having doubles, but I'm not 100% certain if this is about (for example) 2 Wolf Lords with the same Saga, or 2 characters with the same Saga... (non-named)

The only exception to the unique saga rule is that a Named/Special character doesn't count. So you can have Bran Redmaw (who has SotH), and a generic IC with SotH. You can even have Logan Grimanr, Njal, and Bjorn (Saga of Majesty) and still take a Wolf Lord with SoM.

Really interesting idea, you could stick a plasma in there and go for rear armour of heavy support choices?

Imagine being able to stop half of the opponents troop choices with a 5 man squad of GH with plasma with WG with plasma pistol? two strength 7 ap2 shots at one or more of the transports.

Not too expensive.

This would slow down a blood angels army considerably.

Almost like scouts with power armour!

I completely agree about the transports. Positioning has always been key with APC's!
