DAwarrior43
Hey Guys, Me and a friend are looking for a little clarification of the ap value of the Avatars sword? Thanks, -DA Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258731-avatar-question/ Share on other sites
dswanick
If you mean the Eldar Avatar's Wailing Doom - it has no AP value in Close Combat. As a Monstrous Creature, however, all attacks the Avatar make in Close Combat have the Smash USR. Red Fury
If you mean the Eldar Avatar's Wailing Doom - it has no AP value in Close Combat. As a Monstrous Creature, however, all attacks the Avatar make in Close Combat have the Smash USR. MC gives smash. Smash gives all attacks in cc AP2. Plus the ability to make a special Smash Attack. So the Wailing Doom is S6 AP2, 4 attacks at I6. OR using smash you get S10 AP2, 2 attacks at I6. (add +1A for charging still) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258731-avatar-question/#findComment-3146643 Share on other sites
DarkGuard
Shooting wise you use the profile in the Codex, I'm guessing it's AP1 then. Just to confuse things.
