Emptyedens
The wolves of Fenris My first few pics deal with my HQ units. From left to right are my Rune Priest w/COS, middle front is my attempt to make the wolf lord from the cover of the codex, back is a counts as Logan/Termi Rune Priest, my Wolf Priest, and another Rune Priest. Also in the set is my Dakka Pred Ragrok and my Dread Tor with DCCW and TL Autocannons. Added some outdoor shots of my motor pool, my lone wolf and another MOTW Grey hunter Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258770-my-wolves-cc-appreciated/ Share on other sites
Nadir
I like the predator additional engine, and the dread - he looks like a heavy platform. But I would add a little more shading to the faces Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258770-my-wolves-cc-appreciated/#findComment-3146411 Share on other sites
Emptyedens
Do you think another go with a wash would help or maybe stronger highlights? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258770-my-wolves-cc-appreciated/#findComment-3146414 Share on other sites
Wulfebane
Do you think another go with a wash would help or maybe stronger highlights? Highlights. That skin doesn't need to get any darker or it'll start looking like salamanders. I'd say dwarf flesh (or new equivalent) is as light as you'd need to go. Rayray
The wolf lord conversion is nice. I think another color around the rim of the bases, such as black, would look a little bit sharper. -Volsung-
Give the skin a lil more highlight. I really like the grey, but as a whole, I never like blue-ish space wolves. So yeah, that's really nice. You're painting is pretty smooth, that's good. Not a fan of the bases, are you trying to achieve a snow effect? Perhaps try a snow flock instead? These bases don't do your figures justice, dude :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258770-my-wolves-cc-appreciated/#findComment-3148786 Share on other sites
Emptyedens
Yeah I plan on adding flock and other details to the bases after I'm do the bulk of my army, for now the basing paint is just to get it to table top.
