TrentL
I can't seem to find any power axes to represent rune axes Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258825-were-to-buy-frost-axes/ Share on other sites
Lord Ragnarok
I think a better question is "How should I model Frost axes". Based on the codex description there are generally two ways you can start. An axe with chain teeth, or an axe with a crystallized/mirror finish. My Frost "stuff" is typically chain teeth... specifically chain teeth that looks like bone as they are made with or designed around Fenrisian Kraken materials. TrentL
Hmm I was thinking more like the power sword that came in the box with runes or a mirror / ice finish thought that I can paint ice but I'm working on it. I like the idea of the chain axes though if I can't find others I'll have to resort to that Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258825-were-to-buy-frost-axes/#findComment-3147165 Share on other sites
Hagamar
The Chaos Terminators box x1 should give you plenty of what you need... just need to convert them with runes and strip them off some. TrentL
I was thinking http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?r...;product_id=127 Though maybe there are others too bad forge world doesn't do power axes Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258825-were-to-buy-frost-axes/#findComment-3147169 Share on other sites
Marshal van Trapp
an interesting way would be to use plasticard. if you take a long thin strip and cut out random jagged "teeth" you could then arrange them in between 2 axe shaped pieces of thinner plasticard as the cutting edge and then glue the other end to the top of a suitable handle (a TH with the head taken off or perhaps a banner pole?)
