TheHarrower
I played in a tournament this past weekend and was using a Stormraven. Had a weird issue come up. In one game, my Stormraven was hit while zooming and suffered Locked Velocity. I had to Deep Strike using Skies of Blood and I rolled a mishap. My opponent deployed my Death Company all the way on the other table far from the action. Is this right? I know RAI it is, but I thought it made more sense if the models were placed along the line that the Stormraven crossed. Thoughts? Related to this, what would happen if I rolled a delayed result? It says the models would enter Ongoing Reserve. Does that mean I have to Deep Strike them next turn? Do they stay in the Stormraven or do they walk in if they occupants don't have Jump Packs? JamesI
I thought if there was a mishap from skies of blood it was autokilled.
Cydrone
Yep, if any single model cannot be deployed, whole unit goes *splat*.
TheHarrower
Ouch. That sucks, but makes sense. Thanks!
Xenith
Ouch. That sucks, but makes sense. Thanks! This rule is in the codex, in the skies of Blood section, I believe.
TheLost
i thought models with jump packs could still disembark?
Xenith
i thought models with jump packs could still disembark?Yes, they disembark via the skies of blood rule. The jump pack merely reduces scatter via DoA, and means the disembark is not dangerous.
