AL13N Posted January 2, 2013 Author Share Posted January 2, 2013 Yes! Works awesome when driving straight into hordes! I use the massive Magna melta main gun which destroys units and tanks alike! It will kill much more than its 140PTS. I always upgrade the Flamestorm Cannon for the Magna Melta. I play with two Heavy Flamer Sponsons but if my opponent is not a horde army I use Heavy Bolter Sponsons. If I have extra 15pts I will had the dozer blade and Hunter Killer missile however neither have been worth the points so far. I haven't used Lascannon sponsons yet just can bring myself to spend the points on those. The model above has never been fielded itself I have proxy the model with a different predator until I realized it was worth the points to purchase one. Everyone gives me crap about fielding it saying it's not worth it or not that great. Then they take a melta pie plate to the face. I feel inspired to start painting again. AL13N Posted January 13, 2013 Author Share Posted January 13, 2013 I honestly think that the Infernus starts about 30Points more than it should be. I think an AutoCannon Predator being 60Pts and a Flame Blast Cannon Predator shouldn't be 90PTs base. Now I only play with the Magna Melta because it just simply amazing! I also am keeping true to the Salamander Fluff and give it Heavy Flamer Sponsons. I thought it was done until I realized that I for got to give it the Dozer Blade and Hunter Killer Missile. I will update as soon as it is complete. Also my 2nd Rhino is almost done just purity seals and that. As for Mir'san I don't even know who it is.... I play Vulkan to make my army Salamanders. He is my only HQ choice that I want to play unless games go higher than 2000PTS. I can count on one hand how many wins I actually have.
