Max_Dammit
Eh, why does he have Rending as a special rule then? So silly.. All thunder mounts have it, so to make the rules complete they copy paste that rule. DingoDv
I think my point needs reiterating, whilst yes, the FAQ does override BRB, from my reading Special Close Combat weapons do no exist - they either need redefining ie anything that is beyond user strength ap -, or the FAQ needs rewording. As it stands at the moment, the FAQ merely forbids the use of the Rending special rule with a class of weapon that no longer exists in this edition. Vor
Canis, at least the failcast version, isn't heavy enough to be a paperweight sadly. SgtTelion
@DingoDV - I think this is where common sense will prevail. Just bear in mind all the evidence we have before us. The "Rending" Rule for example. In the Space Wolves case its seen as "tooth an claw". Now look at the lightning claws themselves. Where in the Lightning claws profile does it say Rending? It doesnt! IMO the reason Thunderwolf Cav (and canis) gets the Rending rule is because of the mount. NOT the rider. Gone are the days where rider and mount had different profiles. I think we are lucky that the rider is also rending! So yeah, No matter which way you look at it, No opponent is going to agree your claws become rending! No matter how much we look into the wording!
