darnarth lysander
Hello one and all! I am mainly posting this so early on in this making of tutorial just so a certian thread doesn't do it before me. The pictures will come soon I promise just can't seem to fnd USB cable for the camera and am very tired, So they will probably here tommorow ( morning GMT ) But for now, the instructions (BTW I searched sandbags on the BaC website and one thread came up but it didn't have any thing to do with sandbags) What you will need - 1 modelling clay 2 something sharp, I used siccisors but a Utility Knife would also be good 3 something to put your stuff on that you don't mind getting dirty. ( I used a piece of paper ) 4 a GW model ( to compare ) 5 a glass of water ( for your hands ) Step 1 Cut off a chunk of clay (depending on how many sandbags you want) Step 2 Wet your fingers and roll a even smaller bit of the chunk you now have into a sausage type shape. Step 3 Flatten the roll and make it more rectangularish and then cut into sand bag size pieces (once agian these vary on how big you want your sandbags to be ) build up a column of sandbags to either gun or neck hieght and then once your happy do it repeat until you have enough to build the wall of sufficient length. Step 4 wet your fingers and place water on either side of a column of sandbags and stick them together until the wall is complete leave to dry and paint later on ! Hope you enjoyed my first tutorial and hope to do more soon Peace! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/259315-making-sandbags/ Share on other sites
