DingoDv
With 6th Ed making Wolf Guard Pack Leaders characters, I presume the Leaders of the Pack special rule will also apply to them, instead of just the Independant Characters, and thus - we should now start arming them uniquely. Anyone elses thoughts please? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/259358-wolf-guard-as-characters/ Share on other sites
Heimdall Skullcrusher
Damn, it does refer to "characters". And many people will argue all Wolf Guard are characters. This would really limit you fielding units of wolf guard as there are only so many weapon combinations. I want to say it is more designed for HQ units, but... Hopefully that will get FAQ'd. Runesch
I would say does not apply to wolf guards, as the rule is noted on page 81 specific in a *note to a HQ rule. Heimdall Skullcrusher
True, missed how the * only applies to HQs... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/259358-wolf-guard-as-characters/#findComment-3154809 Share on other sites
Blacksad
added to that the Wolf Guard aren't characters when you make your list, they become characters when they join a differnt pack as leader, at the start of the game, when it's too late to be making your list... Runesch
I agree with you Blacksad, but RAW they are characters all the time, i for one dont play them that way, but there are people in the hobby looking for every little loophole to win. Blacksad
RAW a vortex of inconsistencies destroys GW and all it's products, transporting all the money anyone has ever spent on the hobby back to their wallets. I just checked, mine's still empty RAW they change to characters when they get split off from their original pack and become packleaders. Raw on an other page they are characters all the time. RAI GW needs to get people to proofread their stuff before they ask insane amounts of money for it. Blacksad
doesn't even need to be any slaughter. if I can has beer, and move figurines about, and throw some dice, I'm good. Runesch
I usually loose my games, because i rather go for one side to be completly wiped then taking objectives =) Rune Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/259358-wolf-guard-as-characters/#findComment-3155099 Share on other sites
