Liliedhe
My extremely erudite and mature responses to this were: "MINEMINEMINE" and "KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!" :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/259620-the-khan-rides-to-war/page/2/#findComment-3169287 Share on other sites
Hyaenidae
Chris Wraight's writing it? Hmmm.... could be pretty decent, but I have no chance in hell of having that kind of money. Ah well. EDIT: The extract HERE is pretty nice, I gotta say. Aurelius Rex
Interesting to finally hear something about the Heresy era Scars, but £30 for a novella? That's more than a little steep if you ask me. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/259620-the-khan-rides-to-war/page/2/#findComment-3172191 Share on other sites
Gaz Taylor
Interesting to finally hear something about the Heresy era Scars, but £30 for a novella? That's more than a little steep if you ask me. :P Yes it is steep but there is already a proven market for it. The only one I've got is Aurellian but that was because I wanted to see what happened to Lorgar in the Eye of Terror (and I've enjoyed it loads and got a MSPaint drawn cat from A D-B too). I do want to read this but I'm not going to pay £30 for it. I think if BL did it for £15 I would be tempted and would most likely buy it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/259620-the-khan-rides-to-war/page/2/#findComment-3172715 Share on other sites
Inquisitor Engel
So let me get this straight. In the nearly CENTURY since Ullanor, the White Scars have been fighting the SAME ENEMY in the SAME SYSTEM? Wow, that's... well, disappointing. I like it. I really like the Jetbike. The jetbike is fine. Not one of Neils best, but fine. But the portraits from inside the book (done by some other guy) looks like photoshop concept sketches before the real artwork. ThisisJimmy
Both the extract and Chris Wraight's little blog post for BL make this look like it will be a well written novella. I was intrigued by the line about Russ being exasperated by Jhagatai, as I always understood there to be a relatively close relationship between the two wild Primarchs. Should be good to get a bit more of an insight at any rate. Chaplain ChonkE
Have you seen some of the Squat and Wolf mini's thru the years?
