So considering I only have so many different options to use at this point here is what Im considering at a tournament at the local game con. It is a friendly affair so keep that in mind too.

Draigo

Paladins x 10

2x psycannon, 2x hammer, banner

Paladins x10

2 x psycannon, 2 x hammer, stave

Dreadknight

Incinerator, psycannon

Dreadnought

Autocannons x 2

Dreadnought

Autocannons x 2

Im sure several of you have ran something similar and just curious how it turned out. Im not running full psycannons because I dont have the guns. Just hope its enough armor busting potenetial with those dreads. i considered dropping a Paladin or so and giving teleporter to DK also.

I think having a full paladin squad and not maxing psycannon is really wasted occasion.

I would remove the dk and use those points to max out both paladins squads. It should cost 200 if I'm not getting wrong, with the same points you can buy the 4 psycannons you are missing, an apothecary for the Draigo unit (to be able to fnp lascannons, lances and melta is awesome). With the last 45 pts you can buy stave and banner for the units that do not have them or mastercraft all 8 psycannons, depending on your choice.

I have played several games with the 10+10 pally list and, believe me, you won't get in melee too often (sometimes you won't get in melee at all!!), so maxing out their firepower is a must.

It takes only the extremely well prepared or extremely unaware to allow Paladins to get into melee with anything more than a distraction/sacrificial unit. Paladins are MEAN in combat; not much is properly equipped to deal with them, save Hammernators or the like. Kitting them out for ranged is a good idea, because even in that case they are still mean in combat.

Also, I echo the sentiment of dropping the Hv. Psycannon from the DK; consider instead trying out a Hv. Incinerator.

I paid for a Hvy incinerator and psycannon on that list above. I wont be able to do anything about more psycannon paladins till after con this weekend but your advice is well taken. I have the extra guns bought just not the termies. I already have 20 termies and 15 more bought in my head ;) Thinking about a Mordrak unit after I get my psycannons maxed.

Well Saturdays tourney I played Necrons (draw), Necrons (Huge win), and Nids (loss). The Nids are horrible, I killed like 60+ models with shooting and CC but ultimately was overrun. he kept poopin out more bugs to replace the ones I killed and he was able to pull me off my HQ with CC to ultimately win. I still had 10 paladins left and Draigo at the end but wasnt enough and I ran out of turns. The Nid player was fun to play with though and he said he had a blast playing against GK (first time). By the way thanks for all the talk about psyrifle dreads I have 2 now and they ARE PHENOMENAL. And finally, he used Enfeeble on me and I was unable to deny the witch on a 4+ (Draigo) and 5+ paladins over and over so that didnt help. Still though had fun and must admit playing, transporting, and moving 24 models is nice compared to what Im used 2.

I've played nids a few times (though haven't played any of their spam lists) and I rarely have trouble with them. as soon as you get within 24 inches massed psycannon fire will take it down, especially if you have rerolling to wound rolls of 1. The main problem with Paladins is that you can only shoot at a few units, so target priority is a must :D

And with the new change to fearlessness nid's can be very good at tying you up with loads of small squads of weak bugs.

You nailed it my firepower was effective just was short 4 psycannons which Ill get up to speed soon. Forgot Dreadknight had a mishap and was placed in a back corner basically useless most of the game that would of made a difference also, but he did survive.
