Blackwinter
Hi brothers, Im a long time reader but it is my first post. In my last 6 th edition game i used draigowing as my army. My question is when draigo is tanking for shooting in front of is unit what toughness do we use? T4 for majority of the unit or T5 for draigo himself. I couldnt find a explanation in the book for about this. If there is one please address me. Thanks. nurglez
I believe you use the majority toughness. so T4, unless it is only Draigo and a single paladin left alive, then it would be T5. Blackwinter
So when we fail to save against meltas draigo instantly dies? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/259762-draigo-tanking-question/#findComment-3160556 Share on other sites
Gentlemanloser
No. Becuase the Strength of the hit causing the Wound to Draigo isn't twice his T. Plus, he's an Eternal Warrior in any case! nurglez
basically, you use the majority toughness, but still figure out Instant death on a per model basis. so draigo and an inquisitor (T5 and T3) are together, they get hit by a str 6 hit, which will require a 3+ to wound (majority toughness or highest if there are different on equal models), however it will instant death the inquisitor unless he saves it or Draigo jumps in front of him (look out sir).
