Blue Table Painting Power Armour

Recommended Posts

Good day Battle Brothers!

My name's Jamie and I've been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to share some of the power-armor related works of Blue Table Painting, a commission painting company located in Utah. We love to hear what you think, and I love to talk hobby with you guys! Lets jump straight in.....

If you've been down the Blue Table Painting studio lately you might have caught glimpses of movement in the shadows, or felt warm alien breath on the back of your neck. Luckily the BTP team have been painting up a Terminator strike force to fight off the recent infestation of Genestealers.

It's also worth to note that BTP love experimenting with unusual colour schemes, using both artistic license and requests. I think you'll all agree when I say the Space Hulk set was a great box, with some great sculpts. I'm interested in hearing how you think it plays out as well- I still haven't got round to having a go myself.

What standard of commission is this?

I ask as the paint job looks neat, but looks like base + 1 shade and highlight and there's a lot of small details missing, such as highlights on gems and drilled barrels.

also the back of the storm bolter's just seem to be dry brushed

Yeah, you could have drilled the barrels and chopped the BA iconography. But, hey, they look great! I'd be more than happy to deliver clean, crisp, high-standard paint jobs like yours in a time short enough to think I could do commissions. Keep going!

Cheers, JT
