I had doubts about painting him in green or black like the rest of the dw, but green seemed apropriate since despite being a dw member he no longer really serves there, and in the end it turned out pretty good. MithrilForge Posted February 5, 2013 Share Posted February 5, 2013 thanks guys the blade was done with Mordian blue on one side ,warlock purple on the other...i added little bits of white to each mix and just highlighted out to the high points on each side ending with pure white at extreme points!. blade edge was highlighted with adeptus battle grey mixed with black (50/50) just to show where the edge is. it was really quite simple to do,it was an experiment at a mates place on painting night but it looked pretty cool so i stuck with it. cheers mithril Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now, I checked you decembe oaths and I note that you had made redemption oaths for the months of Sep, oct, Nov as well. Pictures can be seen in my thread http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/269559-angels-of-vengeance/ I Midnight Angel, now vow to finish a Deathwing Command squad with apothecary, champion, plasmacannon, and standard with the revered standard plus one extra terminator ( worth 290 points), as well as two death wing characters, an interrogator chaplain in Terminator armor, and a Belial (330 points). I will paint the entire unit and two characters before Feburary 22nd in the Angels of Vengeance Colors.
