Thirdfox
Nice Wolves. I like the dark gray color. Makes them look like they're from the 31st millennium. Agreed, stunning work indeed How did you do the grey? o Primer - Flat Black o Base - Mechanicus Standard Grey o Layer - Eshin Grey o Wash - Nuln Oil o Highlight - Dawnstone Nice Wolves. I like the dark gray color. Makes them look like they're from the 31st millennium. Thank you. I was looking for a darker theme. I don't remember how many prototype paint schemes I tested before I settled on this one. The Wolfmeister
Nice, I like the bloody sword arms. A little tip: if you want the gun bursts to appear more realistic they should be white in the center and get darker at the edges. Kind of a reverse highlight since fire is hotter at the center. Greyall
Why oh why isn't this the Space Wolves' official colour scheme? Yellow and blue is a big part of why I don't love them as much as I'd like to. Bungicats
Sorry, after further review, I was not happy with the images I just posted. Will update later The story of my painting career I'm afraid, it's never *perfect* enough! I really like the dirt slogging look on the bases! The chevrons are unique as well. Brother-Chaplain Kage
Nice looking Wolves! I always liked the darker PH scheme better than the pale blue-grey. Once upon time I almost started a Wolves force when a friend of mine gave me his unbuilt SW battle force when he got out of the hobby and the paint scheme was going to get darker the more veteran the marine was. Lykos
I like the pack markings on the base. Would like to pinch that idea myself if you don't mind. The gray is spot on and the red arm is a nice touch. Very nice work. jeremy1391
this is how SW should look! Grey > Baby blue! When I think "Space Wolves" in my head I see something similar to this. Also clever base markings denoting blood claw status! War Angel
That's some fine looking wolves, I love te darker gray you've used, it's much more appealing than the light gray models.
