Machinepriest Posted September 2, 2012 Share Posted September 2, 2012 So, Dark Vengeance is out, and even though I had no plans to get back to my Dark Angels I feel a strange pull to the sombre robed bastards once again. I'm not a huge fan of the vivid bright green Angels from the studio, which I sort of think look like Christmas marines. So I've been looking into alternatives to Citadel's Dark Angels Green, or Caliban Green which it's called these days. Vallejo has a lot of dark, military green paints in their different paint-lines which seem very well suited for Dark Angels. Problem is, the selection is a bit TOO wide. So, I was wondering if you, the good people of the internet have any examples of Dark Angels painted in different shades of green? Here's a very nice example from dark6spectre from Dakkadakka. It's painted with Vallejo's Luftwaffe Green. Looks awesome in the photo, but in real life it's a bit brighter and have quite a yellow hue. http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/367899-.html This one is painted in Vallejo's Black Green which look a lot like the old Orkhide Shade.
