Brazen Boltgunner
So I'm going to try and flesh out the Night Watch chapter from the C:SM, but I'm not sure if they have a predetermined colour scheme or not. Lexicanum doesn't have a picture but the 40k Wiki does, but I can't find its source. Is 40k Wiki likely to just have pulled the colour scheme out of thin air, or is it legit? Henricus Divis
I too am considering using the Night Watch chapter and encountering the same problem, popular opinion on the B&C Forum is that the Wiki is unreliable and I am trying to find the source for its colour scheme. Good luck brother. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/260058-night-watch-colour-scheme/#findComment-3202711 Share on other sites
Inquisitor Xenthor
Ive tried my own search and got nothing outside the Wiki. You could try emailing GW about it, but its likely that they wont be much help, and the Night Watch are just another randomly placed chapter name. (but by all means, do try! You never know!) Deiros
The Lexicanum (German) has the original Night Watch color scheme ^^ and their chapter badge. The original chapter badge has nothing to do with a candle and a skull, but looks (somewhat) like a black rising sun kind of thing (badge is black also). Colors are dark green torso, backpack and helmet with blue arms, shoulder pads (dark green trims), eyes and legs, with a bone white color aquila in the che http://wh40k.lexicanum.de/wiki/Night_Watch#.UHpJsFH66So German Lexicanum has badges or color schemes from other normally unknown chapter in the English Lexicanum. While the Lexicanum is not law, cannon, 100% accurate is a better source when compared to others and seems that the German version is a bit more accurate also, but that is just probably my perception of things.
