Need help with Scouring, Hammer and Anvil

Last night I played 1500 pts against a space wolf army and we roll up the Scouring with Hammer and Anvil deployment. So we both add 3 objectives in our zone and turns out he had 4-3-2 and I had 3-2-1.

So basically, he castled up and I had to move out.

My list was

Ordos Malleus

2x 5 purifiers + psyback

5x5 strikes squad + psyback

2x psyfledread

I never reached to other side, well not in a significant manner so he just stayed on his side and won the game.

So, now I know that my list is good with Dawn of war, but doesn't have a way to threaten the enemy so far away.

So I need advice on that.

Obvious solution is to add deapstrike unit. So this is what I though

TDA Ordos Mallus + psycannon + 3 skull

5 paladins (2 psycannon, 1 hammer, 2 halberd)

5 terminator (1 psycannon,1 hammer rest are halberd)

3x 5 GKSS (1 psycannon) + rhino

1x10 GKSS (2 psycannon, 1 hammer)

1 psyfledread.

This would give me the option to deapstrike 3 units (4 if ccombat squad the GKSS) and still have 3 scoring unit in rhino.

Or I could change the 10 gkss and Inq for 5 gkss + GM. Which would give me the option to scout or make pal + dread scoring. Or 5gkss and 5 other terminators, keeping the Inq.

Do you think those list are viable?

Do you feel I had the right tool in my original list and just didn't play it well?

You did have the option of DSing your Strikers in the first list... Im not saying that 5x5man units would have threatened his army but it could have helped and taken alot of attention away from the Purifiers crossing the field.

I would honestly give it a few more games and see if you can make it work before modifying your list to suit.
