Brother Nemiel
Greetings All! I am in need of assistance. I would like to paint some clothing on miniatures that have bled underneath their clothes. Any tips on how to darken bits of clothing so that it look like the mini is bleeding underneath? All tips are appreciated! Thanks in advance! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/260146-painting-help-required/ Share on other sites
Nintura
Washes. Paint a base coat. Then paint where you want the blood. Then wash over it with the color of the clothes. When you highlight, make sure you highlight the blood part to if the clothing is folded where the blood is. Subtle Discord
As an added adea for Washes; Try applying it to a damp surface to get look of blood soaking into the cloth. With the surface lightly damp, just add a tiny dab of dark red Wash and/or thinned paint, and let the Wash spread. Once you've done a few layers like this to create the 'soaked in' blood, follow with more concentrated blood colour painted in the center/top of the underlaying wound.
