Ordo Machinum
I actually liked it better than I thought I would. As I was reading, I was taking notes. Some interesting stuff that's no real spoiler, like 4th & 6th Company Masters' names: Master Boaz of the 4th Company Master Tigrane of the 6th Company They serve aboard the Battle Barge Angel of Retribution, and later under the command of Master Balthasar of the 5th Company I like adding fluff to my troops and I came across an oddity in the book. Maybe I missed it, so please any who has read the novella set me to rights... Everyone in the DV boxed set was accounted for. Aboard Strike Cruiser Sword of Caliban Chaplain Seraphicus was interrogating a "prisoner" (rather wonderfully too, I should add!) On Bane's Landing: Company Master Balthasar Librarian Turmiel DW Sgt Barachiel w/ SB&PS DW Varhmiel w/ AC&PF DW Mendrion w/ SB/CF (killed) DW Dardariel w/ SB&PF DW Narcariel w/ SB&PF RW Sgt Arion (killed) RW Arias (killed) RW Gethel (killed) TAC Sgt Constantin Raphael TAC Kerael w/ PG TAC Heskia w/ PC TAC Regulus w/ B & a Mk V helmet (killed) TAC Selaphiel w/ B (killed) TAC Orion w/ B TAC Simiel w/ B TAC Angelus w/ B TAC Tennin w/ B TAC Joash w/ B TAC Oriphiel w/ B Okay, two oddities. First, there were 11 members in the TAC squad. Second, Balthasar speaks of seven DA being killed. There were only six. I'll be rereading to be sure of it.
