huntingbane
I'm wondering if this looks cool with dark eldar. you know the stuff you make out of corks that you put in open wine bottles. yeah my brother said that you cut it up into small pieces then glue it on the base. once it is dry you paint it scorched brown when that is dry you wash it with devlan mud i hope it looks cool. AlanofAngels
Hey I've been using the cork method for a while now and I really like it. Although, since this (kind of old) picture I've also started adding small plasticard tiles and empty shell casings to the base as well. I just bought a big ol' piece of cork at walmart and break into small random shapes for the bases. Good luck with it man! Olis
The cork you're looking for is from cork-board, huntingbane, rather than from corks (assuming the stuff you're looking for looks like the stuff on the base of AlanofAngels marine). AlanofAngels
Not to derail the topic, but oh man Heathens school has me over a barrel to say the least haha! I am planning on getting back to B&C posting after Thanksgiving though so hopefully ya'll will be seeing a lot more of my ugly mug in about a month! ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/260173-cool-looking-bases/#findComment-3205157 Share on other sites
