Pistorius Posted September 4, 2012 Share Posted September 4, 2012 Greetings, everyone. With the advent of 6th edition, I am rebooting my DIY Dark Angel Successor chapter, the Griffin Lords. I have also pledged to complete one tactical squad before the end of September in the Path to Redemption challenge. Should I manage to complete this in time, I will begin working on their Rhino as well. I am still nailing down the particulars of the paint recipes so I have only been working on my test model to this point. I will post some photos later this evening. I'm doing a purple scheme, and went to pick up the newest versions of GW's purple. So far, I've tried the following basic method on the armor: 1. Base -- Naggaroth Night 2. Layer -- Xereus Purple 3. Layer -- Genestealer Purple 4. Shade -- Druchii Violet. I'm not sure I'm digging the Genestealer Purple highlights. Any recommendations? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
