I'm trying out the CF army list off of GW which consists of: (1) Pedro Kantor (2) 5-man Sternguard w/Razorback (Heavy Bolters) (1) 10-man Sternguard with Rhino (1) 10-man Tactical w/ flamer and ML (1) 10-man Tactical w/ flamer and MM (1) Whirlwind (1) Predator Annihilator (1) Vindicator Any suggestions for any strategies I should try out? Istvaan Posted September 16, 2012 Share Posted September 16, 2012 Great roster here. I would like to suggest a devastator squad if you can manage it. The whirwind will be great for hordes and so will the vindi, but I would suggest running the Pred as either an annihilator or a combi. You are a little shy on that high strength that will reliable shoot down Monstrous creatures. The sternguard can do a wonderful job of that with an abundance of wounds from hellfire, but if they fail to kill they will get wrecked in CC. Scything talons are not our friend. I would also suggest throwing some comdi-plas/flamer on them. The Plasma will help you take down reinforced Chitin tyrants and the like, and the flamers supplement your already great anti horde. You can also choose to save the flamers for charging infantry and perform a deadly overwatch heat spurt :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You dont really need such an expencive character for such a small points game. besides, and monsterous creature would crush him just the same in close combat.
