Dark Angels 3rd Company and Deathwing

Having finished a sizeable portion of what I have to do, I thought the moment was there to put some things of.

I'm far from a Masterclass painter but I think I've come far from the early days... >_>; (remembers the clotted shapeless overly varnished VOID Junkers he made as a kid)

The quality of my camera is a bit meh but I tried to delete the worst.

 

So let us begin with what is done already. 3 squads of Tactical Marines. 10 man squads naturally. And a few weapon options to share.

I have for each squad a: flamer guy, plasmagunner, rocketlauncher and a meltagunner.

So I can mix and match as I see fit.

 

A sizeable portion of veterans in robes and tabbards. Love the veterans in the Space Marine range so I used these and not just robed fellah's.

 

My first Dreadnought.

 

2 leaders both from the Assult on Black Reach set. First one I made with a white cloak but finally I opted to make one with the typical bone-white of the force and a more elaborate banner.

 

I also have a few heavies stuck in there. Namely a Plasma Cannon marine and a Lasgunner.

 

What await me on the worktable?

 

-> 3 squads of Deathwing. 1 Assault Marines, 2 regular with the autocannon.

-> A Terminator Captain to be a 'Belial' but most likely named otherwise.

-> The 5 MKII veteran Marines due to my love of veterans

-> A Plasma Cannon fellow

-> A Chaplain with Skull Mask

-> An (almost finished!) command Squad

-> A venerable Dread for the Deathwing

-> A regular Dread

-> The Dark Vengeance fellows.

 

>_>; Seems I still have my work cut out before I get to work on my opposing force of Night Lords. Two armies each will focus on something else.

My Marines will have lots of Termies assisting the tacticals. The Night Lords in turn will get a large portion of Jump Troops and probably some bikers.
