Those look awesome!

I second the question about pack markings. I've found it not only uniform but also helpful to identify minis on table when they have identical pack markings throughout the pack. Except if it's a pack of lone wolves :)

Here is the total of my Months 250 pledge. More than 250 i know but drokk it :D

We played the first game last night! Ten player 250 each, one big game....... it was AWESOME!

The pack markings are that way just becuase i wanted the variation every wolf is an individual. I'll save the codex restictions, rules and regulations for Ultramarines

Thanks guys ;)

I have not decided on the company name /background yet, i was going to let the games we play forge the narrative, here's a link to see the first game

And now the Wolf Scouts are done it means i have hit the 500pts target

Holy shenanigans! I really like these! The painting is excellent - and remarkably clean - but the modelling ideas are great as well. Consider some of them stolen for my own future projects (I'm already assembling a Jump pack Wolf Priest :) ) Kudos to you sir and good luck with keeping up the motivation!

Well it's been a little longer that i would have like for an update on my wolves but hey ho and here we go!

For my next 250pts i did 10 sky claws so my wolf priest has a pack to lead.

And two more grey hunters with different special wpns to add more coice to my troops gear

My old army I went very simple on my squad markings.

For my Grey Hunters their shoulder pads were dark red with the left shoulder having the company rune symbol of tyr and the right shoulder being a specific pack rune symbol. This then played out with the other types of units,

Wolf Scouts: Black runes on grey background

Wolf Guard: Red runes on black background

Etc

Etc

Going to do the same with my new army for 2013, but not hand painting the runes this time. I am making a runic stamp kit and experimenting with stamping runes and also engraving runes.

Cool army :) aren't wolf guard black and yellow tho?

I knocked up a grey hunter over last couple o days.

Bit of a kit bash jobbie just for fun. i did a couple more which will do over next few days

at the enc of this project i will do a teachy thing

I'll keep an eye out for that.

I spotted your minis on the golem painting facebook page, and couldn't remember for the life of me which thread this was.

Great work as always.

I know I promised you long fangs next but I got all Robot giddy

The next installment for my personal gaming army is Cormek Dod

I named him this because of a rather good section of the book Prospero Burns by Dan Abnett

Hope you like him :)

Where's the bit thats hanging off the assult cannon from? The one thats two teeth and the stone hanging underneith it? Over all I think the dread looks great... the wolf head on the assult cannon is distracting though, by the painting.. everything else is pretty banged up, but there's not a scratch on the wolf head. I think if it was the brass color it might tie it together better. Your doing a hell of a job knockn the figures out, I'm looking forward to seeing more.
