I've been going on Wednesdays mostly; I signed up for the 40k escalation league. I'll be there this Saturday for sure. I have lots of armies; but I've been playing Crons and Sisters mostly lately. That'll change though, I've started a new Daemons army that'll be just Tzeentch models. Hopefully we can meet up and get a game in! With all the new Horus Heresy stuff coming out you may end up calling this plog Tale of 8 Armies, 4 legions and a couple of Titans... Good luck with them all. I think its good to flick between projects as when you get sick of painting a certain colour you can refresh your palette. This way you still have a goal at the end of it all. I am using some Mk5 elements(helm, legs, and left pauldron speciifically) I had to make the thundershock. I got some GS work to do yet, but it should work. I'm representing the mastercraft nature by eliminating the cooling vents altogether. I sure hope this'll work out. It is a very different beast from a traditional Iron Halo, so was just wondering if you had some ideas on how to convey it for wysiwyg purposes. You could take the end of a grey knight force staff- the circular haloey one with a skull in the center; fill in the center after filing off the skull- mold the chapter symbol in the center of the halo (and add bling to taste). After affixing it to a proper looking backpack, you could then take some guitar wire and lead it to some home created/scratchbuilt supplemental generator piece. The Emperor's Champion is base colored-ish. the BA captain is still holding, but the furioso dread is started, as is the BT dread the marines errant dread is almost ready for priming. all in all not as productive a week as I had hoped but hey, real life, you know!
