dustermaker Posted September 12, 2012 Share Posted September 12, 2012 With everyone starting a Dark Angels army because of the new starter set I have decided to start a Space Wolf army! My local gaming store is doing a gradual army build(tale of 4 gamers style). We start out with a Troop choice limited to 250 points for the first month and do Kill Team battles. Next month we add an HQ choice and another Troops choice. We move on from there until we have full sized armies, no unique characters are legal until the last month. I am currently the only person out of the 20 people using the Space Wolves, almost every army will be represented. Most of the people are using a Marine based army, but Necron and Tau forces are represented by 3 people each thus far. We are limited to 6 scoring games per month and must play everyone once before playing someone a second time. I will hopefully be posting the battle reports from these games when we actually start(maybe get some good pictures). September is just to get people interested in the game, and October is when we get into the games full swing. I plan on starting with a Grey Hunter squad of 9 for my first troop choice. I just got the Space Wolves Codex and am deciding on what Great Company I like the most. Once I get the models built and painted pictures will follow! Anyhow Tl:dr Starting Space Wolves and can't wait to destroy some Xenos scum(and some loyalist scum too)!!
