8 Sisters with Multi Meltas

8 Immolilators New in sealed boxes

This is of course a lot to strip and paint and I suffer from LPS or lazy painter syndrome ( -_- ) So this is the first batch I plan to paint:

Arch Confessor Kyrinov, Sister Squad 1 with Superior flamer and heavy flamer, Sister Squad 2 with the same as 1, Sister repentia squad with 4 and mistress, and Seriphem Squad with Superior and hand flamer. I'll post pictures as I go.

Wish me luck!

That's a lot of models! Good luck!

Any chance of photos? I'm curious about the Canoness with Storm Bolter.

That is a lot of models!

What points value does that all come too roughly? I've heard that the average SoB army can field more models than a lot of others, so I'm interested what those models come to.

Update time number 1: The repentia are all cleaned and base coated, the basic sister squads are soaking in oven cleaner, and the seriphem are on deck!

@Miko: I'll post a pic later but the canoness is a converted heavy bolter sister with the canonesses book and an imperial storm bolter.

I'll figure points as I paint lol I'm a tease :D .

@2:05 am

Last update for the night: The first troop squad is based and base coated. I will hit the next one tomorrow morning.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v205/KaguraHakubi/Smilies/sweatdroplaugh.gif A guy in my store is planning a Sisters army built around two Battle Sister squads, three Repentia squads and nine Penitent Engines.

Talking of Penitent Engines, I actually fielded three today (Two counts-as dreadnoughts and a counts-as Hellbrute... but the Hellbrute was very, very sorry for what he did). They chewed 600 points of Strength D gargantuan creature. :D

Fair enough ^_^ I've noticed that if you really want to get good money from SoB models, you need to sell the units peicemeal instead :)

But I agree with WarriorFish that you are probably meant to keep them!

With that many models, my priming method would be: find an old warehouse, lay them all out on the floor, grab a few buckets of white or black paint and pour it over the lot of them ;)

(Don't actually do that)

Looking forward to seeing the results!

Actually, considering the amount of wastage normally involved with using GW spray undercoat, the best thing to do might be to arrange the entire army on newspaper on the floor and just go over it all at once.

Well I finally have moved past the priming stage and on to painting. The first sister was painted in 1.5 hours and the photos are bad I know. Here is sister Ysabella:

Good Morning Everyone! So I now have half a sister squad painted. I'm using purity seal on the models but getting a fuzzy result. Its not bad on this paint job and kind of makes the models look more organic. But for future uses, how do I avoid the "fuzzy" result?

Also another pic :P
